Case Study
Problem: A young tradesman called in looking for pain treatment for his dental abscess. He was clearly in pain taking analgesics every 4 hours . We learnt that he had a phobia of needles & was resisting going to the dentist to address the condition.
Treatment: Acting on our suggestion, the man went to the dentist requesting a dental prescription for a numbing gel. The dentist agreed & we prepared a numbing gel in a pina colada flavour. The dentist applied the local anaesthetic gel prior to the dental proceedure so that the man could not feel any sensation of a needle.
Result: After suffering for weeks the man was relieved that his dental abscess had been drained & his toothache was behind him.
