Women’s Health
In Women’s Health there are different health concerns for women ranging from those in adolescence to women experiencing menopause.
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy can have extraordinary benefits for menopausal & cycling women with the use of natural, healthy supplements derived from plant hormones that are biologically identical to those naturally occurring in the body. Working with a patient’s medical practitioner we, at Visionary Health, can customize these hormones to your body’s unique needs to relieve menopausal symptoms and the progression of age-related conditions such as osteoporosis and heart disease.
Our natural hormones are available in capsules, topical creams, vaginal suppositories, liquids and troches. Your medical practitioner can recommend the best form and dosage for you.
Alternately, certain herbs may deliver some of the symptom-relief characteristics of our natural hormones – yet they only mimic bio-identical hormones, and therefore may not be fully effective over the short or long term.
Bio-identical hormones are known to have MINIMAL SIDE EFFECTS and these are usually dosage dependant. Because they are derived from naturally occurring plant hormones that are biologically identical to human hormones, they normally restore the body’s physical balance.

Case Study:
Problem: A young lady, Susanne H, in her early 30′s suffered with a severe case of endometriosis. She spend more time in bed than out, had conventional treatment and operations to treat the condition with poor results. When the condition was at its worst she would cough up blood in her sputum. Prescribed drugs had side effects and were not helping. As a last resort gynaecologists recommended a hysterectomy.
Treatment: She was referred to our orthomocular naturopath, David Henderson who suggested she have a blood test to check her hormone profile. The blood test results showed a bad hormone imbalance. A suggested treatment of a bio-identical hormone, in a cream, to be rubbed onto her skin was presented to her doctor who agreed and prescribed.
Results: After using the prescribed natural hormone cream for two menstrual cycles, the lady was a different person. She detailed her story to all the women on our staff. After spending twelve or more years as a partial invalid she was now an aerobics instructor. Suzanne wrote a letter to the NSW Department of Health asking ” Why did I suffer for twelve years, seeing so many doctors when this natural treatment was not offered to me? Are the doctors/surgeons interested in the health of their patients or the remuneration obtained from elective surgery?”
